Perhaps the most Paleo (and arguably the healthiest) option to consider is a
short fast! The health/longevity benefits of intermittent fasting are
beginning to surface in many recent studies, so being caught somewhere with no
suitable food might be a good time to exercise this simple alternative. And since
Paleo folks did not have access to refrigerators, McD's and vending machines,
they most certainly endured occasional fasting periods of varying duration.

Anyway, what do you do to make the best of a bad paleo-diet situation? Any
other fast food restaurants that offer something remotely resembling paleo?
Let's assume restaurants like steak houses, and grocery stores are out of
the question. I know how to handle those.
