Women also have a gut morphology that is considerably different than men's.  Women have lower intestines and
colons that are considerably longer, relative to small intestines, than are men's.  They also produce diferent
levels of digestive enzymes making it more difficult for them for instance to metabolize alchohol and perhaps
other foods.

This may be an adaptation to the sexually different food obtaining stratagies inherent in the hunter-gatherer
lifestyle.  Other predators who share this sexual dimorphism in food gathering behavior include lions (whose
males almost never hunt) and falcons (whose males and females prefer different game).  I can think of no
herbavore animals who exhibit such behavior.
