After following a paleo diet for several months with minimal fruit -nil

While the majority of your post dealt with thirst, this is interesting
re the headache. I've been low-carbing for eons (seems like, anyway),
and the other day had a lovely (rare) optically-related migraine. I
felt very wiped-out, and instinct-and-craving kicked in (I don't
usually get cravings for sweets at all). I actually went for ice cream
(I know, I know, it's not Paleo!)-- my first in many moons. And it
helped. Since the brain prefers to run on glucose (don't we all...) I
presume your instinct for something sweet, and mine, were excusable. I
should have gone for a frozen banana...
