I can sympathize with the financial end you mentioned. I've had to make
some difficult choices with food. My answer also goes beyond the scope
of the subject line.

If you feel better on the diet you will find a way. If you're craving
things isn't that why we keep chocolate chips in the cabinet? Why do we
have to be so rigid? If its a religious issue then it is governed by
your own conscience. If its a dietary issue that is still your own
decision as long as there is no known immediate danger. As such I would
not give sugar to a known diabetic, sneak caffene to a mormon or serve
pork to my jewish friends. I have no need to understand why thats just
what you do. Why is there such a flap about this?

I know the diet works, I've lose some weight and feel much better. I
can't afford to go "organic" but I do buy as much fresh as possible and
manage to save some by buying in bulk. How about some pointers for those
of us on the "edge of pure paleo". Is there another oil besides Olive
that I can use for salad dressing. I love Tuna with Sprouts (adzuki &
mung) but are those OK. What about Yogurt and Acidipholois milk. I
discoverd Paleo after Neanderthin went out of print and am still waiting
for the next issue. I'm depending on this list to help me get started
with FOOD. And yes I have a religion which is none of the above.
