I heard that Loren Cordain's Paleo diet wants to severely limit salt
intake, something to do with salt having a net acid load to the kidneys
because of the acidic chloride in salt?

Does anyone know what this means? The chemistry I remember says that a
salt is neither base nor acid.

Also, I have tired adrenals, and salt is actually prescribed to help
support the adrenals.

So do I need to "alkalinize" my system even further to compensate for
the extra salt that I have to eat?

Thanks,
Kira
