Hello Annie, I'm glad you ruled out medical problems, that's important.
My understanding of our systems is that it's a sudden drop in estrogen
that brings on our periods every month, so that being the case, I don't
think it's a surge of estrogen making you spot. There is obviously an
upset in your hormonal system, but this may not necessarily be a bad
thing, particularly if it's causing you to burn stubborn fat....You didn't
mention how long you've been spotting,,and at what stage of your cycle.

Sometimes we spot when we ovulate, and this is natural..sometimes
we spot when starting the pill..(.that happened to me....for an entire
month..).there can be many reasons, not all of them worth worrying
about....ruling out med problems,,I would just wait and see if it clears
up on its own.

Women will stop menstruating when the body thinks its starving.
Perhaps you've activated this response...again..you didn't mention
how long you've been in ketosis either....so it's hard to know for sure.
Any other females out there have a similar experience they can
share?

Anna
