Mel, I second Christy's opinion to make an appointment with a good
gynecologist to have a complete gynecological exam.

Re. your hormone levels, you may want to contact Dr. Zava for a complete
saliva test (progesterone, estrogen, testosterone).  Your local doc will
probably not be able to get a totally reliable test for progesterone...thus
the need for a saliva test.

Many women on my breast cancer list, including me, are very happy with the
saliva tests that Dr. Zava sends us through the mail.  Your results come
back to you with a comprehensive printout.  Very reliable.  Until you get
the complete, true picture of all three hormones in your body, you can't
make any informed decisions.
