Hi Jean-Claude ---

Here's my own experience: I have suffered from seasonal allergies
practically from birth --- wheezing, dripping, itching my way through
May (birch trees) and August (ragweed). And when I lived in California
(the Bay Area), my allergies weren't seasonal --- they were *constant*.

Just one year ago, June, 2002, I stopped eating all grains. I had been
tested for gluten intolerance, found to be extremely sensitive, and
advised to eliminate all gluten-containing grains from my diet. I
decided to go the whole hog and eliminate all grains --- partly because
I'd started doing the research on paleo eating, and partly because even
millet and rice, which are gluten-free, made my sinuses swell up within
20 minutes of eating them. I also drastically reduced the amount of soy
and other legumes in my diet, from several servings per week to 1 or 2
per month.

Results: August, 2002, after only 2 months grain-free, I had only a few
sniffles and sneezes during the height of ragweed season --- even though
I was yanking the @#%*&! stuff out of my garden by the handful. In May,
2003, I had *no* allergy symptoms whatsoever as the trees dusted me with
their pollen. So I'm a happy camper indeed.
