What about those step on elec wieght machines that supposedly send an
electric sensor or something through your body and tell you your
weight and
body fat?

I heard they are very unreliable.  The one at my gym requires you to
put in
sex, age, height and "athletic" or "standard."  I wonder if most
people ask
this too when doing the kinds of bf measurements in water or with
instruments as you mention?
