Hmmm... These numbers are way off. I just checked the USDA database,
and a cup of carrots is about 8.8g of utilizable carb (subtracting
fiber). A medium orange is 14.6g. A medium apple is 15.7. A cup of
broccoli is 3.6g. A medium papaya is 24.3g. All of them combined
would still be less than 70g.

There is not just one way to "do" Paleo. Cordain certainly recognizes
the traditional Inuit diet as an authentic paleo hunter-gatherer diet,
and it is certainly a ketogenic diet. The truth of the matter is that
paleo diets may or may not be ketogenic. You can "do Atkins" in a paleo
way, if you choose, by avoiding the various lowcarb gimmick foods that
the Atkins plan allows, etc. Obviously, the Atkins diet doesn't require
these paleo choices.

And while I'm at it, there's nothing un-paleo about sausages either. If
you don't like the additives that are often put in them, it's not hard
to make your own, or to find "organic" sausages.

I'm not sure what "athletic shape" is, but I'm confident that it doesn't
apply to me. I do exercise: mostly weight training, once a week,
slooooow reps.
