The quality/taste varies considerably, even among brands that tout
themselves as being virgin, unrefined, etc. Spectrum has some of the very
worst I've ever tasted. It's a wonder I was ever willing to give coconut
oil a second try. But the second try I gave was with Garden of Life brand.
It was good, also pricey--but a little goes a long ways. Am now using a
pint sold at the health food store that was packaged from a bulk order. I
don't know the brand. It's very much like the Garden of Life brand but a
little tastier.
