Melissa,

I have been using CS for about 5 years in my practice and with my family. I find it to be a wonderful product. It has antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. we use it mainly topically for any type of infection. This includes ear infections, sore throats and it is, perhaps, the best product around for sinus infections.

We sell it in the office for $18 (2 oz. 270 ppm). We recommend that our patients dilute this and put it in a spray bottle or atomizer. Several sprays to the back of the throat and the onset of a sore throat will usually stop it within minutes! We will dilute approx. 20 to 40 parts water to 1 part CS. This will make a 2 oz. bottle last a long time. I will put a few sprays into my sinuses if a patient sneezes on me or I feel somehow
exposed to virus. I have used it with newborns and infants with pinkeye (very dilute with purified water) and they clear up within hours. I use it daily with a mineral crystal as a deodorant (no complaints in years). Of course, use it on cuts and abrasions to prevent infection.

Some people propose that you use it internally every day for prophylaxis, but, I am not yet convinced of this. However, I would not hesitate to use it for a week or so for internal infections. I have heard it works well for ulcers but, as yet I have no experience with this to relate.

My experience is that CS is one of the products that should be in everybody's home. It is safe, effective and inexpensive.

HTH,
Dr. Kim

My friend gave us a bottle because it was buy one get one free (those things are a fortune!) and we have used it on my sons coughs or earaches or put it on sores etc that anyone might get and I am still in the stage where I am not sure I am convinced of it's abilities. Does anyone use this as a form of antibiotic? If so could you tell me your sucess or failures? Thanks!
