Oh but paleo does help. I have far greater success on paleo than any other time in my life of working out. In my twenties I had weak arms, same in my thirties and forties. Not any more. Even if I haven't been able to work out because of being on the road so much, my muscles have memories and paleo eating takes no time at all to get back to 'normal'. With SAD I would need about three months to get back to my routine. With paleo, three workouts and I'm right back. I'm now 61 and in better shape than in my 20's, 30's and 40's. Not bragging, just paleo fact. ;-) Recovery time is very limited if I've pushed it too far on occasion, my sex life is better than in my 20's, 30's and 40's and I feel so much better too. Those are my points about lifting. Typical aerobics does nothing for me.... My workouts are aerobic with limited rests, if any.... Oliva
