Yep! you can't and won't live forever and neither will Dr. B Quack!

In 1999 at the age of 39 I had a severe brain hemorrhage. It left me
partially blind (almost died)and out of work as an airline pilot. It was all
caused by an AVM which is a congenital blood vessel defect. Never had a
symptom. Ran many ultramarathons, the most grueling being the "rim to rim
to rim" at the grand canyon in Arizona. It was 50 miles with 11,000ft of
climb.

At the time I was a vegan(fool). After the surgery I got an infection and a
month on intervenes antibiotics. I lost a ton of weight that I could not
afford to lose. I could not recover and was going downhill for a long time.
Then I found you all and my health changed rapidly and dramatically as I
switched to paleo almost overnight. I slowly gained 20lbs. back to a normal
weight. I am running again 3-5 miles/day. My anxiety (PTSD) is improved.
I still fatigue rapidly but I think it takes a decade for the brain to heal.

My point is I was in the ambulance, I felt faint and could feel my heart
start to slow (everything went slow motion) I heard someone say "were losing
him" then after a shot of something I was wide awake. I was thinking how
fast the end can come. You all need to remember it too. I wasn't paying
attention to much of anything because I was busy being a self righteous
vegan athlete. I thought I was bullet proof. Let the "Quack " go on
quacking, do your research, never stop questioning.
Most of all I am thankful to all of you for staying the course and providing
useful information so I could recover, I and my family owe you all more
than I could repay.

Thank you,

Jeff
