i have read a book about an archeoligical site in Illinoi where many layers
of different ages ( over thousands of years )
accumulated .
before wild rice became a stapple the diet was based on  , meats, nuts  and
vegetables . once harvest of wild rice became important tooth decay,
arthritis ,violence and other familiar neolithic ailments appeared that was
inexistent before
