Mike,

I think the problem is often that they 'believe' they are healthy.  It often
becomes a religion, and as I've experienced, and as I speculate, people get
addicted to the brain chemicals released during 'believing', like a runner
becoming addicted to endorphins, or a skydiver addicted to adrenalin.
