Steve, have you ever tried to sweeten foods with agave? I buy an organic
agave at the health food store; it is grown in Mexico. It comes in the same
type of containers that honey comes in, and is very, very sweet. It does
not raise the glycemic load so, although I do not sweeten foods very often,
if I do so it is usually with agave.

And, yes, it is the agave plant that is used to make tequila. ;).
