Hi, my name is Mike. I just subscribed to the list. Actually I was
on the list about 1 year ago, but I rarely made any postings and was
only a member for a short time. I hadn't read the literature that
was being discussed (Audette, Cordain) only had an interest in
paleo-approaches. This past summer I had opportunities to read those
books and some others on diet. Late in the summer and during this
fall I began returning to more neolithic foods. Ironically, this was
partly because I was feeling better than I was used to so I felt that
I could indulge myself a bit. Breads and flour products are
especially so available. It got out of hand for me however. This
was in part because I didn't appreciate fully the factors that
contributed to me feeling better. Recently I found myself thinking
of how terrible I have been feeling and how good I was feeling when I
was eating mostly paleo. So I have decided to give the paleo
approach another go.

Being that I joined after this discussion had begun I have a question
about Jim's condition. If you are in shape with desirable blood
pressure, pulse rate and lipid profile, then what cardiac issues do
you have?

Mike

>excellent lipid profile. Doesn't stop you from worrying though.
