Who wants to eradicate them. Folks want to avoid becoming ill from them. Of
course, the friendly microbes outnumber the troublesome ones a zillion to
one, but that doesn't mean there may not be problems, regardless of your
definition of a healthy environment.

I am talking about when syptoms are life threatening. That is a problem.

But wild animals have problems, some life-ending, with pathagens. Nature
isn't perfect--it just works. And from the individuals percpective,
pathagens can be problematic.

Microbes and bacteria that threatened life have been with the planet long
before the invention of controlled fire.

I agree with you more than I disagree. It's just that you seem blind to
nature's reality, preferring to throw out the counter-examples of
problematic pathegens, even in pristine natural animals, in order for your
idealistic version of nature to remain consistent.

Oh well.
