At a standard doctor's visit last year, the doctor wannabe (20-something
intern) gave me the "uh-oh!" over the fact that my total cholesterol was
193. I then gave her the "bite me" by pointing out my triglicerides were
stellar and my LDL:HDL ratio was 1.9 so I'm the bomb. I wanted to reach
over and slap her. Seems most MDs are clueless on cholesterol. That and
bought out by the drug manufacturers.
