Would the fact that many nuts make my tongue burn mean I'm allergic?
Walnuts do this almost right away, rarely if ever macadamias and pecans only
after eating quite a few.  Almonds are fine.

Someone else mentioned raw nuts; I can stop after half a handful.  Do you
think the 'fine' folks at the nut companies KNOW that roasted and salted
nuts turn us into snarfmasters and help us send their kids to college?
