I called Spectrum once and asked if this was food-grade oil, and
they said it was.  That said, I think they use hexane to extract
it, which is not unusual with refined oils, but you may not want
the trace amounts of hexane that could remain in the oil.  I
don't worry about it, myself, but you may have a different take
on that.
