What do you think could have caused the positive effect of soy protein?

It could be achievable by different means, without the dangers of estrogens
and lectins (what I suppose you regard as the reason to avoid it).

If it's the protein, then maybe some beneficial amino acid composition?
Or is it even the lectin which has benefits? (As reported by D'Adamo for
blood group A-s and cancer).

Otherwise I'd think that the kind *fat* associated with the food
should make up the difference.
When you experimented with soy, which kind of fat did you increase to equal
out the zero fat of soy?

Just some ideas that came to my mind.
