scary! when the big food industry want to please the paleo move . It is
called recuperation of good ideas for lucrative pursuit.we had "no fat"
crave . soon we are going to get the wild genetic label.

>FYI, the buffalo are fed grain but for no more than 120 days before

that show how unealthy , is the gain of weight, accomplished Only after 120
days.

> average lifespan is 16-24 months, if memory serves.

4 months of unatural life must bring its toil ( the other meaning given by
the dictionnary is " a trap for wild beast ",interesting!) on a 2 year
animal ,how long are they nursed ? do the mother get supplemented with grain
? vaccination?

  At this
>point, I have no idea what the ostrich are fed.

pelleted foods , by-product of human''food' industry ( oil , soya ,sugar
,milling industry etc...) most likely steamed to bind everything together.

>I do know this; neither buffalo nor ostrich are given hormones. These

>grocery stores, definitely something worth looking into.

what is better mostly is that we benefit from the genetic of those animals
that makes them able to handle the abuse better, but few generations of that
regimen , they are going to degenerate to the level of the domestic animal
addicted to crap. then we will have something to cry about when we will have
exhausted the potential of naturally designed genetic make up.

  I'll post more
>information as it becomes available, if interested. Is this free-range
>meat? No, but it's pretty darn close, at least when compared to standard

and

>gram saturated fat.

>Hope this doesn't look like an ad, but I'm sure this is just what a lot of
>people are looking for.

when we feel powerless about asking what we really want , i suppose...
when we are ready to content ourselves with the "unavoidable " we are just
complice of mediocrity.

Wild species are great but when fed their original wild diet . That is
totally possible but is requiring comitment from the farmer and in
definitive the consumer. It cost !
