I use the recipe in Neanderthin.  I use a whole egg and don't worry
whether the ingredients are all the same temp or not.  I make it in a
little mini food processor, and add the olive oil VERY slowly after first
blending all the other ingredients.

It works well for me.  I use a light tasting olive oil.
