I wouldn't call myself a serious athlete, but I do work out 6 days a week -
combo of cardio, weight training and pilates. My morning heartbeat is
roughly 32 bpm, my heartbeat has been irregular for as long as I can
remember, and when I do cardio and it speeds up, it's regular. The first
doctor who made note of it wanted to run extensive tests, suggested
medications, etc. - that was about 20 years ago. I have not done anything
about it and I feel fine.
