I do not have Celiac Disease. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitus in the
fall of 1981. I didn't diagnose myself. I had all the tests--and I had all
the symptoms. It was a very clear diagnosis. During the 20 years I've had
UC, I have occasionally been in full remission--colonoscopy showed zero
inflammation--though I didn't start restricting grain until very recently
(last six months). Our situations are not the same.
