there is a world of difference between responsability and guilt they are in
fact the antithesis of each other .

we are feeling guilty as an attempt to redempt from our irresponsability (
inability to respond ).

Dr bernard didn't say it was wally's faute or lacked spirituality. it just
say that wally might have missed an opportunity to do it differently ,that
is all .
today i got many details of the last 6 weeks of  a very wise person (
between his diagnostic with terminal cancer and his actual death ). An
intimate friend proposed to help him to accomplish any unfinished business
he had on earth before going away ...he could not find anything that he
regret not having done .

He actually died with lot  of gracefullness and gratefullness , he was ready
, his familly and friend were very supportive and bathing in the love he
emanated . they tried to convince him to quitt smoking .

 felt response able but not guilty and decided to not to , consciouslly .

dying or not dying is not the issue ( coming from somebody who almost died 5
times ) what compt is the peace of mind and no Dr bernard in the world can
disturb that if you decided to not to .

And yes nobody is actually victim of anything and nobody is guilty of
anything .

it might not be easy to find allways the appropriate response to any given
situation but it is allways available to the taken .
