I have to disagree.

I buy raw almonds, and then spray them with olive oil and bake them in a
toaster oven at 400-425 degrees for a few minutes, until they just start to
turn color.

They are especially good still warm.

( But I agree that it is best to avoid already cooked nuts in the store. )
