carob is the fruit of a leguminous tree . we don't eat the seeds only the
flesh . the reasonning behind excluding legumes doen't apply for carob IMO.

semi-paleo ersatz-chocolate. I like carob a lot, but to me it tastes nothing
like chocolate. So, I continue to eat my dark chocolate and occasionally
some carob sweets and don't care that it's not paleo!
