Even the most natural milk you can buy contains high levels of bovine
hormones. These hormones have been linked to Type I diabetes and are
suspected to cause breast and prostate cancers.

Milk from cows that have been given artificial hormones have slightly
elevated levels of these same hormones. This makes milk from such cows very
hard to detect. Thus the European purposals would simply ban all milk
products from countries where these artificial hormones are available.

Because the differences are so slight, it's not a health issue but rather
one of protecting European farmers from more efficient producers.

Many organic compounds are fat soluable. Ask me sometime about my recepie
for "Alice B. Toklas pemmican".
