An Australian author Ross Horne ("The Health Revolution " and "Beyond
Pritikin") claims that a number of Pritikin followers reversed heart disease
but because they relied heavily on grains they ended up with arthritis and
cancer.  Supposedly eliminating the grains by swapping them for fruit and
vegetables they eliminated the problem.
