This variation in caffeine would explain why some days, I
get the jitters and other days I don't. I never thought
about the green tea (or black for that matter) having
different levels of caffeine. I brew a "pot" each day using
a Mrs. Tea that my sis gave me years ago. I can get 3 large
mugs of tea from 2 tea bags.
