KB,

It is nice to hear such kind words about my beloved profession. Thanks.

The more I practice, the more I am convinced that a qualified
chiropractor should be the doctor of first choice for almost all health
problems. I know this sounds self-serving and provincial; but our system
of sickness care (not health care) is in dire need of reform.

Most allopathic physicians are so pressed for time that usually the
patient barely starts explaining his symptoms when the doc whips out his
Rx pad and starts writing. "Lets try this and see what happens". Of
course, this opens up pandora's box of side effects and drug
interactions. Chiropractic may not solve every problem, but it does not
create new ones along the way.

When it comes to allergies, you are correct. C1 (Atlas) can be involved,
but so can man other things. I am partial to a technique called Neural
Organization Technique (N.O.T.) because I believe it allows the
practitioner to go even deeper and find out why C1 (or whatever) is
causing the problem. I also use homeopathy, herbal or glandular remedies
as indicted. All can be used effectively with the minimum of possible
side effects. If none of these protocols work, then one could resort to
the more drastic and potentially harmful allopathic armaments.

PS: I just received a post from Dr. Walt Stoll that mentioned that a
new intestinal biopsy procedure has definitely linked autismto routine
immunizations. I'll post more as I find out more.

Happy Holidays to all,
Dr. Kim
