LOL, and YAY, J.O.!!!!  Thank you!!!  Tonight I fixed some, UM, UNpaleo hashbrowns with tons of red onions, but it was all homegrown and I cooked them in leftover LIQUID fat, ie bacon and who knows what else was in that pan, hehehe.  Pretty yummy,  but it didn't squeak, lol.

This is hilarious and i know exactly what you mean!

Hehehe, Stevie, I didn't mean to make you nauseous, but YEAH that stuff DOES
make me nauseous for sure!!  I agree that the crispy kind is pretty yummy,
BUT the problem there is that I like my steaks, porkchops, etc., medium-rare
so there's not enough time on the grill to get that good crisp on the fat,
boo hoo, lol.  I'm afraid my doggies get that end of the Paleo deal on those
meals, hehe.  Dogs have this strange habit of eating all things gross, lol.
And since my dogs are TOTALLY Paleo, ie raw food diet, they think those
slightly toasted jiggly things are just heaven's delight!!!  I still say
Yick, lol.  I even cut out those gross little fattie parts on roast beef and
ham before making a sandwich...those squeak, too, lol.

Love,
Bren

Bren :-D

Yes, if I could melt down the fat trimmings and DRINK them or crisp them in
the oven, that would be ideal.

Stevie~slightly nauseous over your description of "squeaky" fat. LOL!

fat, either, not the problem!!  While your problem is a visual one, mine is,
well, hmm, what's the word for wanting to puke when a piece of fat gets in
your teeth and it SQUEAKS???  Oh MY.  LOL.  Can't deal, nope.  Give me my
fat in nice liquid or SOMETHING form, and not in the squeaky, jiggly form,
NOPE.  (And that squeaky stuff doesn't taste so good either, once you get
past the squeaks!!!  Yicky!!!)

How do you cut the fat off a nice steak and eat it?

myself to put it in my mouth. I am a big baby, I admit it. :-\
