Hi Mel - Just a couple questions:

1) Why do you think that your diet will be the focus of your visit? Lack of
periods in a young healthy female should never PRIMARILY indicate a need to
rework diet! If you *are* very thin or look over-exercised, then this will
not be the case.

2) Again, lack of periods in a young healthy female WILL point to hormonal
imbalance of some sort - so the test should be the first thing your doctor
addresses.
Why don't you just go in, state your primary complaint, and DON'T TALK about
your diet unless and until your doctor asks specifically about it?

I'm not endorsing lying to the doctor, of course - but if you are eating a
truly paleo-type diet, full of vegetables, meats, fruits, etc. there is no
reason to make it seem shameful or radical by "hiding" it.
