Yes, but as your quote mentions, it is rarely the presenting symptom of
celiac, and celiac disease is rather rare.  I stand by "lack of periods in a
young healthy female should never PRIMARILY indicate a need to rework diet".
In other words, that is not where the workup starts, and rarely where it ends
up unless hormonal tests reveal no abnormalities.
    IIRC, the poster has been following a paleo diet for some months, and the
amenorrhea has appeared since then - so while she may have celiac disease, it
doesn't look too likely that her switch to a grain-free diet would have
triggered her symptoms.
    Her concern seemed to be that the PALEO diet would be blamed for her
problems if she revealed all to her doctor.
