    I know it's trite, but I think your only recourse is to eat more and
maybe do some strength training. In your diet, try eating more
calorically-dense foods (like nuts, say) that won't make you unpleasantly
full. When exercizing, focus on relatively brief, high-intensity activities.
If you do resistance training, make large muscles your priority (i.e. legs,
buttocks, chest), rather than spending a lot of time on, say, bicep curls,
which aren't going to add much muscle mass.
