We need a scale that measures sweetness.  We really want to see the
consumption of "sweetness" irrespective of the source and how that has
skyrocketed over time, even with the introduction of increasingly
artificial sweeteners.     As for me, I restrict my consumption of
sweetness to my sweetie -- its just more special that way ;o)
