Just a personal comment. Was barbecuing some venison and pork today and my
kids came up with some windfall apples from our back yard. So I threw a
bunch on the grill. Very nice.

By the way. Anyone who is in the Northern Illinois area who might like to
help thin the deer herd on my Dad's farm this fall/winter, drop me a line.
Maybe we can set things up. There are so many deer this year that the state
is adding lots of special seasons hoping to thin the herd. Or wait till
disease does it. Not good.
