In my experience, I get things like that if I am eating to much
carbs and not geting enough sleep.  Even paleo sweets can do it.  My
suggestion is to eat very little for a few days. What you should eat
is very rare meat and steamed veggies. Maybe a little grapefruit or
blueberries. Sugars usually feed infections.  When I get sick that
woks for me. I only get sick every few years or so.
