 Perhaps you've activated this response...again..you didn't mention
how long you've been in ketosis either....so it's hard to know for sure.
Any other females out there have a similar experience they can
 share?

Hi! My name is Cathy and I am also a newbie to this list. I'm 27, married,
one child, and a former vegetarian of 10 years. I have been practicing this
WOL for about 8 weeks; I started it because I wanted to lose 15 lbs, cure my
iron-deficiency anemia, carbohydrate addiction, and fatigue. About 10 days
after I started, I got my period (it was a week early) and then I got it
again just 8 days after I stopped bleeding the first time! Since then I've
gotten it every 2 weeks, bleeding at my usual time, and bleeding again
(fully) during the time when I am supposed to be ovulating!!!!!

Before this, my cyle was 35 days long. I am assuming all this bleeding is a
side-effect of this WOE becausemy cycle was regular for over 15 years before
I started. Perhaps my system is in shock from the dramatic change? Or maybe
the hormones in the meat (which I haven't been exposed to for a decade) are
responsible? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated ~ Thanks, Cathy
