Here's something I've found that helps. Each morning I
go hunting at my local grocery "superstore" on my way
to work and "bag" my morning meal and lunch. Usually
fruit for breakfast with nuts as a mid-morning snack
and a "packaged" (but fresh) salad for lunch, and
maybe some carrot sticks or similar for afternoon
snack. All of this is as "fresh" as possible and very
tasty. Today's salad: Shrimp (mmmm). I'm not sure if
this would fit into your budget (it's not necessarily
a cheap way to go, but then again it's really not much
more expensive than the typical fast food fare -
parenthetically speaking, of course:)
