Greetings,
Congratulations on making a dietary change. That is probably the
hardest part.. making the switch. Right about now I expect you are
wondering just what in the world you will eat?!?

Nuts are good although some on this list have trouble with too many. I
personally prefer raw almonds as they have less salt and seem to bother
my digestion less.

I second Richard's comments about the Nightshade family of plants.
They cause me *huge* migraines in minutes. Potatoes and green peppers
are the worst for me. I also would wonder about Okra since one can
only eat Okra raw if it is very tiny. Mature Okra tend to be pretty
hard to chew as I recall. And hey... they are so nasty to eat! Who
would want to do so?!? ( personal flavor bias there LOL)

As a hint: lard *is* beef suet as far as I know. We make our own lard
here as the stuff from the store has hydrogenated things it it...
bleech! Smells up the house but makes really great fried chicken.
:-)
