Yes, but the yolk has lots of biotin. If you eat the whole egg, then no
problem.
Isn't it a severe biotin *deficiency* that can cause hair loss?

Raw eggs are a superb form of protein with a near perfect amino acid
profile. Any sort of cooking denatures that protien.

Our ancestors surely ate them often- easy to gather, nicely packaged, and
so handy! Slurp! Yum!
