have to get really hungry and stay there. On "relaxed" paleo
(i.e., eating my fill of paleo foods) my body fat stays at around
18-20%. This is with exercise. Without it, body fat goes up
further. On SAD and without exercise, it's about 30-32%.

On a politally correct lowfat diet with plenty of tofu, I can get
my cholesterol down to 225, but HDL drops too, and triglycerides
 tend to rise.

 I have no explanation.

Are your parents/grandparents inclined to store fat like you do? Is it
possible that you are genetically geared toward carrying more fat than you
would like?
Are you sedentary most of the day?
I remember you saying before that you work out a couple of times a week doing
strength training....did you ever start a cardio exercise program?

Sorry to sound like an interrogator. Just wondering if these things might
apply to you in some way.
