The recent thread on paleo workout foods inspired me
to try an experiment yesterday. Instead of carbing up
on rice I ate a couple of bananas Fri night. Saturday
morning when I went out to play volleyball I cracked 3
young coconuts and poured the water into a glass
container. The coconut water turned out to be a
supreme workout fuel similar to what I used to
experience when I was using Gatorade.

Coconut water is high in carbs, electrolytes,
vitamins, minerals, and is completely paleo. I did a
google search this morning and came up with this.
