If you truly try to simulate a paleo diet why not simulate a paleo-style
exercise routine? Your body will adapt to working at very high intensities
in a short time. I have been paleo for about five years & have no trouble
working out at high intensity. I design my workouts to simulate a paleo
lifestyle or what I imagine one would be like.
I use paleo foods with a warrior diet (Ori's stuff) format. I workout very
early in the morning & do personal training throughout the day, not to
mention watching my 4 1/2 yr old & 18 month old. Yes call me Mr. Mom:).
I eat very little during the day & have a large meal at supper of high
fat/high protein/medium to semi-low carbs. Once in a while I will add more
carbs with raw honey.
