How do you know if you're in ketosis?

Subject: [P-F] Ketosis

I have been eating paleo for 1 1/2 weeks, and feel really good. I have
been working out 3 days a week and walking most of the others. The weight
loss has not been much, which is strange since I have been in ketosis since
a few days after starting. The one thing I noticed was there is a large
variation in the color. Sometimes it might only register a trace and other
times it might regester moderate? Is this normal? I am eating way less
than 20 grams of carbs. Any thoughts?

Thanks
