>? The Inuit stayed thin on a high protein diet. How do you explain that?

Inuit who traditionally live on extremely large quantities of animal fat may
take in only a moderate amount of protein. According to the explorer
Stefansson, when he lived with Inuit, he took approximately 70% of his
calories from fat. This would indicate a moderate amount of protein in the
diets of some Inuit groups. (Ray Audette has spoken to me about documentary
films showing Inuit whalehunters throwing whale meat overboard to make more
room for whale blubber.)
